    That all depends on what size you need. The average is around $5 per watt, larger ones are less, smaller are more. You can find solar panels online at the AltE Store at http://www.altestore.com.     Depends on the size and wattage. You can find ones for under $100.

    That is kind of like asking what a car costs. You have beaters and you have luxury. Pick up a copy of solar today or homepower and look in the back they are available in most libraries or here is a link.

    I can only tell you how much they cost wholesale or bought directly from the factory in the US or China or Germany. They were selling for about 6 US dollars per watt but have come down considerably and are now at 4 US dollars per watt. China, in an attempt to prop up their economy is planning a subsidy to their factories making the panels even less expensive.

    The typical panel comes in many watts, however I believe the most common are 190 watts and 220 watts. Depending on your situation.

    What you pay for them retail I would guess double the wholesale cost.
