I want to install one in my garden but havent found a good site on the internet. Is it very expensive to build one? How do I start? I want to contribute with the planet and of course also stop paying so much for electricity. If someone has some good info, I am happy.

It’s possible to do yourself, but connecting to your house and city electrical grid takes detailed knowledge of high powered electrical systems – not something you can easily find on the internet.
A couple of places to look for basic solar information are Mother Earth News and Popular Mechanics. They both have websites and you should be able to find some background info.
Based on your question, I don’t think this is something you should try to do yourself – hire a professional so you have a safe installation that won’t be hazard to you or your electrical company.
You might be able to assist the electrician by constructing solar panel supports, but stay away from the electrical stuff.
