A couple of places to look for basic solar information are Mother Earth News and Popular Mechanics.  They both have websites and you should be able to find some background info.

Based on your question, I don&#039;t think this is something you should try to do yourself - hire a professional so you have a safe installation that won&#039;t be hazard to you or your electrical company.

You might be able to assist the electrician by constructing solar panel supports, but stay away from the electrical stuff.</description>
