Me on my last trip
Hi,
My name is Phil H. and i have been playing poker since i was 17 but now i found “another game” which is just as good and usually makes me more money than poker.
When i was 15 i started playing backgammon. I played it real good but from the moment i got acquainted with poker and won my first game I knew there was no turning back. Poker just has it: the thrill, the excitement, the sweet victories and the bitter loses. That was the first big change in my life.
When i turned 18 i started traveling, taking part in major live tournaments, playing the circuit, meeting all the big names in the industry. At that time online poker gambling become a big part of my life as well. I was actually making more money online than i did in live tournaments which were more for fun than money.
There were days that i would play Texas hold ‘em for 16 hours straight and then it all changed in the black November of 2002, which ruined the lives of many good online poker gamblers. I kept going to tournaments and playing poker whenever i could but i had to find a new entertaining online game which is legal and can give me a serious income.
And 3 years ago i found one – Forex trading. It took me a while to get the hang of it, i started practicing with virtual money on a site called http://www.etoro.com and pretty fast i goot into the business. That was the second big change in my life.
I found out that Forex trading is very similar to poker and that a good poker player can be a good Forex trader and vice verse. Today i keep playing poker on every opportunity i get and i still travel to big tournaments but i make most of my money online with http://www.etoro.com.
Will there be a third big change? who knows 
life is full of surprises and you can never know what cards will you get next. One thing is sure – i learned to always put some money aside for stormy days.
